For Contract Section WS-1 of G30 Wusu-Lake Sayram Expressway Project, our Project Department will construct a section of the seventh east-west line - Lianyungang-Khorgos Expressway (G30), which an element of the “7918 Network” of China National Expressway Plan, and also a section of the first east-west expressway of the “five north-south lines, five east-west lines, three circular lines and four link lines” trunk highway network proposed in Xinjiang's expressway network plan. Its starting point is west of the Kuitun River Bridge on Wukui Expressway and to the east of Wusu Interchange, at stake no. K259+300. It will connect with the trunk line of Xingxingxia-Urumqi-Kuitun National Highway within Xinjiang, and successively pass through Wusu City, Baiquan, Hatubuhu, Sikeshu, Hongqi Township, Gaoquan, Guertu, Tuotuo, the Ebinur Lake Wetland Reserve and Jinghe County from East to West, connecting to the starting point of Contract Section WS-2 at its end stake, no. K429+117.034.
